Negros Oriental State University (formerly Central Visayas Polytechnic College) is a university in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. It is located beside the provincial capitol building of Negros Oriental. It started as Negros Oriental Trade School (NOTS) in 1910. In the late fifties it became the East Visayan School of Arts and Trades (EVSAT) and to transform as Central Visayas Polytechnic College (CVPC on June 10, 1983.

Upon its conversion as a state university, Central Visayas Polytechnic College Main Campus I, CVPC Main Campus II, CVPC Bayawan-Sta Catalina Campus, CVPC Bais, CVPC Guihulngan, Genaro Goni Memorial College, Siaton State College, and Mabinay Institute were integrated together to become the collective Negros Oriental State University.
