He developed his music talent at a very young age, when his mother encouraged him to memorise traditional Bengali poetry and songs, and then further influenced by his uncle who is also a Bengali singer-songwriter. His new album called "Dunya", was released in 15 November, 2006. It has a combination of different languages, themes and cultures.
