- Natasha Suri is former Pond's Femina Miss India-World,from Mumbai, India. Suri is currently 24 years old, 5'8 feet tall and has had an enviable modeling experience to her credit. [She also won 'Miss Beautiful Smile' and 'Miss Personality' titles in the Pond's Miss Femina India India pageant]. Suri was in the top 10 at the Miss World pageant,further-on 6 contestants made it to the finals. She stood 2nd in the Best Body event at the Miss World(which no other Indian beauty queen bagged for many years at 'Miss World'),2nd in the Best Gown Round at the Miss World and made it to the top 5 in the Talent event there where she performed to a classical piece of music . As the saying goes that achievers start early, Natasha Suri is no stranger to winning beauty contests. She has won 8 beauty pageants like Navy Queen,Miss Maharashtra,Get gorgeous-1 and many more contests before Participating in the Miss India pageant. No doubt, her experience at walking the ramp and winning beauty contests gave her the necessary poise and confidence reaching as far as she did. During Miss world 2006, the judges could not choose one semifinalist from Suri and Miss Australia, so both were included among the semifinalists,which was remarked and announced on stage as a historical moment. One must know that Suri was a huge favorite in the competition drawing the 'Highest' no. of votes from all around the globe along with Miss Venezuela to win the contest. She was defined as one of the 'Finest' and 'Most-Deserving' Indian winners and representatives in a long time to be sent to an International Beauty Pageant,by the Indian and International press. She has done her bachelors in business management from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. Meanwhile, she has several impressive modelling assignments in her portfolio. In a short span of four years, Suri has taken the modelling industry by storm and has been distinguished as an 'A' Grade Top Indian Model. She has been described by Industry stalwarts as A beauty with one of the most gorgeous bodies in the country,especially her waist(it measures 23 inches!) and a strikingly beautiful face to match along with loads of oomph, poise, class and sex-appeal. A rare combination. She was discovered by India's ace lensman Atul Kasbekar who introduced her as 'One of the most beautiful faces of 2006' along wid Monikangna Dutta in the Annual 'Canon Calendar' and was proudly featured her as a 'Stunner' in the 'Cosmopolitan' magazine in the first year of her career. Atul describes Natasha in the calendar in the following words, Natasha Suri defines the term 'Photogenic'. She moves like a Goddess. The camera absolutely n completely loves her. She has singularly the most amazing waist in the country. She also hosts the popular show Cell Guru on NDTV. Natasha has already modelled for all the top notch designers in the country like Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi, Suneet Varma,Satya Paul, Ritu Kumar, Neeta Lulla, Shantanu -Nikhil etc and all the other top bracket designers. Her face has graced several prestigious print campaigns and endorsements like Ponds, Pepsodent, Audi, Tanishq,Diet Coke, Snickers, Parachute,Gestures etc to name a few. She has adorned the covers of several magazines like Femina,Elle,Top gear,Time out,Lifestyle n Luxury,Smart Photography,Brides Now,AGL,Fitness First,Maxim etc. Natasha has walked the ramp at Rome Fashion week,Sri lanka and Dubai Fashion week,India(Fashion 'weeks',and has reportedly done over 450 ramp shows. She was also appointed Tourism Ambassador of Mauritius,receiving a lifetime honour of being 'Friends of Mauritius' by the Deputy Prime Minister of Mauritius. She has also been felicitated by the President of Sri Lanka in 2006 for her glory and success as an Ambassadar of India. She was bestowed upon with the Pillar of Hindustani Society award in 2008 for her achievements in the Fashion Industry along with other noted awardees like Nana Chudasama,Ravi Paranjpe,Dhanraj pillai etc. She was also presented the Jai Hind Alumnus trophy the same year for her achievement in the Beauty Industry following the footsteps of ex-Jai Hindiites and beauty queens Aishwarya Rai,Priyanka Chopra and Isha Koppikar. Suri has been approached by several filmmakers and has received dozens of film offers since her Miss India win,but she is being patient and identifying the 'Right' pick for herself. - Natasha is a firm believer in God as much as in her own capabilities. She comes across as a grounded and humble person with eclectic tastes and as someone who knows what she wants to do with her life. Her hobbies include travelling, dancing,music,reading etc. Throw her abilities in the kitchen and you have a complete Indian woman there. She is extremely family oriented and very attached to her mother who she considers to be her strength and inspiration. She has two siblings,an elder sister and a younger sister both of who are also in showbiz. She is half Telugu and half Punjabi by caste..
