Narborough railway station serves the village of Narborough in Leicestershire. It is located on the Birmingham to Peterborough Line 8 km (4¾ miles) south west of Leicester. The station was opened in 1864 but closed by British Rail on 4 March 1968, however such was the outrage that it re-opened on 5 January 1970. When built it was one of many rural stations built adjacent to the road with a level crossing.
