" Their latest album, The Renovation, was recorded by Jamie King, who has also recorded albums for Between the Buried and Me, Whitechapel, Through the Eyes of the Dead and The Classic Struggle. My Bitter End member A. J Tompkins has been very outspoken about the breakup of the band, contributing extremely low album sales for their Uprising Records debut The Renovation, eventually dropping them from the label, and turmoil between the band and drummer Mike Ranne, who is known for his tantrums on stage. They planned on making their reunion show at the Peekskill Elks Lodge on February 22 with the following bands: The World We Knew, Anyone But You, Of Sound and Silence, Jack Torrence, This Blissful Silence, and Above the Ruins, but due to snow this show never happened and was never rescheduled. My Bitter End never broke up, they were on a hiatus because of all their different side projects. Guida is now a part of Dr. Acula, Ranne is a part of the local band The Huntress. Mike is a part of the local band We are the Romans and AJ has moved to Florida to pursue his own career. My Bitter End has currently booked about three shows for april; it is unknown if this is the return of My Bitter End or just a reunion.
