A number of digital distributors including IODA and CD Baby continue to take a percentage of sales royalties from artists using their services. Musicadium's 100% royalties returned to the artist model is also utilised by US-based aggregators Tunecore and Watunes. There is debate about which royalties model is of most benefit to artists. Musicadium helps its artists to access promotional opportunities on each of the outlets it distributes to.
