Prof. Mohammad Murtuza Siddiqui, a noted Islamic scholar and teacher at Riyadh University held a doctorate from Osamnia University. Dr. Siddiqui had done post-doctoral studies at California University. He had done research on works of Hazrat Abdul Quader Jeelani and educational philosophy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He was a multifaceted personage and a rare Muslim researcher in the contributions of the Islamic Civilization to Science and Technology. Dr. Siddiqui was a great scholar, voravious reader,eloquent speaker and above all a sincere personality. Spoke on 'Sufism of Islam, Vedantism of Hinduism and Evangelism of Christianity. He was the first Indian to be a faculty Member at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, an affiliate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia.
