  • The Muhajir Qaumi Movement (Haqiqi) is a breakaway faction of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement (which was later renamed to Muttahida Qaumi Movement) in Pakistan. The MQM-H is led by Afaq Ahmed. The Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM-H) has announced to approach the superior judiciary against former President Pervez Musharraf and his associates for their support to what they termed as “massacre” of MQM-H activists and leaders. Addressing heads and members of various committees of the MQM-H at temporary Bait-ul-Hamza in Karachi, party’s vice-chairman Akhtar Hussain said it was former President Musharraf who allowed his allies in Karachi to unleash a reign of terror against Haqiqi leaders and workers. “Party Chairman Afaq Ahmed was thrown behind bars in fabricated cases, party’s headquarter was demolished, all other offices were occupied and scores of workers and activists were killed by the terrorists under the patronage of General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf” he charged. Akhtar Hussain said MQM-H believes that Musharraf and his accomplice who strengthened his dictatorship and supported him on every move of his, were directly responsible for the killings of hundreds of MQM-H workers.
