Mr. Clint Parker played his last show with Mount Righteous on February 7, 2009. As of 2009, they are said to be working on their upcoming sophomore release. Mount Righteous performed multiple sets at the 2009 South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas. Their debut album "When the Music Starts" was awarded the 'Big Album' trophy at the 2009 Big Thing Awards, hosted by Quick, a Dallas alternative weekly.
