Born at a small village Lakhau, 15 km east of Churu (चूरु) in a Rajput family & yet a teetotaler himself & preached the same to the society. Believer of Arya Samaji's way of life & a follower of Acharya Vinoba Bhave's Bhoodan movement (land donation movement) - he donated hundreds of acres of his jagir land to landless and inspired many others to follow the suit.
