Mohammad Reza Rahimi (محمدرضا رحيمی in Persian) is an Iranian Kurdish politician and Vice President of Iran. He was be Iran's Vice President in September 13, 2009 by a sentence by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Rahimi was Vice President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs from 2005 to 2009. He is the head of school of law at Tehran Azad University. He was also governor of Kurdistan province in Iran. He claims that he holds a PhD from Oxford University.
