Mobonix, born as Mohammed Kabir, is an American rap artist and hip hop producer of Bangladeshi descent, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston. He released his debut The Mickey Finn Special on April 11, 2007. The EP reflects his life experiences which includes the United States Marine Corps. Mobonix also breaks from his original style by singing entirely on the song Cry which was co-produced by Cameron Wallace who is known for producing multi-platinum songs such as Upgrade U for Beyoncé Knowles. Mobonix has also been known to dabble in acting in movies alongside actors such as Kal Penn of Harold & Kumar fame.
