Mobonix, born as Mohammed Kabir, is an American rap artist and hip hop producer of Bangladeshi descent, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston despite dropping out of high school. He released his debut The Mickey Finn Special on April 11th, 2007. The EP reflects his life experiences which includes the United States Marine Corps. His first single, What Chu Wanna Do? is included on the American Pie Presents: Beta House soundtrack in 2007.

Mobonix has also been known to dabble in acting in movies alongside actors such as Kal Penn of Harold & Kumar fame.
