Miron Tudor Mitrea (born August 8, 1956) is a Romanian engineer and politician. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Vrancea County from 1996 to 2008, and has sat in the Romanian Senate since 2008, representing the same county. In the Adrian Năstase cabinet, he was Minister of Public Works and Transport from 2000 to 2004. He has four sons and a daughter.

Pe 21 aprilie 2008, Direcţia Naţională Anticorupţie (DNA) cere Camerei Deputaţilor aviz pentru declanşarea urmăririi penale în cazul lui Miron Mitrea, vizat într-un dosar de corupţie, pentru săvârşirea infracţiunilor de luare de mită, instigare la fals în înscrisuri oficiale şi uz de fals, ultimele două în legătură directă cu infracţiuni de corupţie, instrumentate în dosarul numărul 49/P/2006.
