He went 9-0 with a 2.78 ERA for the Elizabethton Twins to earn an Appalachian League Post-Season All-Star selection and was named APP Pitcher of the Year. Baseball America also named him a Rookie All-Star. He was also named to the Midwest League All-star team in 2008 with the Beloit Snappers, and joins Miracle teammates Carlos Gutierrez, Spencer Steedley, Daniel Lehmann, Chris Cates, Chris Parmelee, Ben Revere and Steve Singleton as All-stars for the 2009 Florida State League's Southern division.
