Minab is a city in the southeast of Iran not far from Bander Abbas. It is famous for fishing and for farming. It is in the official way between Bandar Abbas and the Makran and Baluchistan province. The population are Shi'a and the dialect of Persian they speak is Minabi which is something between Bandari and Balochi. Once a week, a well known bazaar called "Panjshanbe bazar" orin Minabi dialect "peyshanbe Bazar", occurs in Minab.
