- Mike Puwal, full name Michael J. Puwal III, is a guitarist and producer best known for his work with Psychopathic Records. Often referred to as Mike P. to distinguish him from the Insane Clown Posse's original producer Mike E. Clark, he made his production debut with the group on Forgotten Freshness Vol. 3 and went on to produce the group's sixth Joker's card. Puwal was discovered by ICP when he was hired to build the group its own studio—the Lotus Pod. Previously, the group's recording sessions would take place at Mike E. Clark's Funhouse studio. During the process of building the new studio, it was revealed that Puwal was a noteworthy guitar player and producer. With their studio ties to Clark severed and a new producer available, ICP moved away from its producer of eight years and teamed up with Puwal. After joining Psychopathic Records, Puwal also started the label's rock group Zug Izland. He is the guitar player, producer, and writer on the group's first two albums. In 2005, Zug Izland left Psychopathic Records, and Puwal left the group. He produced tracks for fellow emcee Esham as well as his group Natas. Puwal is now living in Nashville, Tn, writing and producing for several national and independent artists.
