Michael Edward "Mike" Love (born March 15, 1941) is an American singer/songwriter with The Beach Boys. He formed the band along with his cousins Brian, Carl, and Dennis Wilson, and their friend Al Jardine.

Mike Love est particulièrement opposé à la musique de Brian Wilson qu'il trouve de plus en plus complexe et difficile à reproduire sur scène. La tension entre Mike et Brian atteindra un pic lors des enregistrements de l'album-projet Smile en 1966. Lors de la session d'enregistrement de Cabinessence, il demandera à Van Dyke Parks, collaborateur et parolier pour l'album, de lui expliquer le sens de ses textes. Ce fait provoquera le départ de Van Dyke Parks, furieux du comportement de Mike Love. Selon des propos de Van Dyke Parks, c'est Mike Love qui serait responsable de l'abandon du projet Smile ayant fait pression sur Brian Wilson, de peur de perdre sa place de parolier de groupe. Dans les années 70, Mike Love sera cette fois en tension avec Dennis Wilson, frère de Brian, qui à la suite d'une blessure l'empêchant de jouer de la batterie, prendra de plus en plus le rôle de chanteur principal. Ayant pris le leadership du groupe depuis 1974, Mike Love est depuis l'origine dans les Beach Boys et le seul à l'heure actuelle à jouer sous ce nom. En 1992, il a engagé des poursuites contre Brian Wilson à propos des droits d'auteur des titres des Beach Boys. Mike Love a été marié cinq fois et a eu sept enfants. Une de ses filles, illégitime, Shawn Love a été la dernière épouse de Dennis Wilson. A noter également qu'il est l'oncle de Kevin Love, joueur de basket-ball professionnel évoluant désormais en NBA.
