Michael Loewe (born 1922), also known as M. A. N. Loewe, is a British academic and sinologist. Loewe attended The Perse School in Cambridge and Magdalen College, Oxford. He worked as a specialist officer in the British Government Communications’ Headquarters from 1942 to 1956 and then served as Lecturer in the History of the Far East at the University of London. He joined the faculty of the University of Cambridge in 1963 and retired in 1990.
