Michael David Chong, PC MP (born November 22, 1971) is a Canadian politician. He has represented the riding of Wellington—Halton Hills in the Canadian House of Commons since 2004. He served in the cabinet of Prime Minister Stephen Harper as Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of Sport, as well as the President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada from February 6, 2006 to November 27, 2006. Chong is a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. On May 16, 2016, Chong announced his bid for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, to be decided on May 27, 2017.

À la suite de la victoire du Parti conservateur lors de l'élection de 2006, il est nommé Président du Conseil privé de la Reine pour le Canada, ministre des Affaires intergouvernementales et ministre des Sports. Le 27 novembre 2006, Chong démissionne du conseil des ministres pour signifier son opposition à la motion du premier ministre Stephen Harper reconnaissant les Québécois comme une nation au sein du Canada. Selon Chong, il s'agit de la reconnaissance d'un nationalisme ethnique inacceptable en 2006. Il s'est abstenu de voter sur la motion, et précise qu'il appuie toujours les autres positions du parti et demeure député du Parti conservateur.
