- Meteoropathy (from Greek meteora, celestial phenomena, and pathos, feeling, pain, suffering) is a disorder, or physical condition, or symptom due to climate or conditions of weather such as humidity, temperature or pressure. Someone said to suffer from meteoropathy is called a meteoropathic. Meteoropathy is different from historical conceptions of "air" causing diseases and strongly influencing people's sense of well-being. There appear to be significant and measurable correlations between particular atmospherical events (such as a sudden increase in humidity and temperature) and the onset of disease. - Wetterfühligkeit oder Meteoropathie bedeutet eine Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber Witterungserscheinungen wie z. B. Luftdruckschwankungen, Föhn, Hitzewellen, wechselnde Luftfeuchtigkeit, drückende Luft oder Gewittern. Sie wirkt sich auf Allgemeinbefinden, Stimmung und Leistungsfähigkeit aus. Die Wetterfühligkeit ist ein noch weitgehend unerforschtes medizinisches Phänomen der Meteorotropie. Als Ursachen werden Schwankungen des Luftdrucks und so genannte Atmospherics diskutiert. Wetterfühligkeit gilt nicht als Krankheit, sondern bedeutet eine verminderte Fähigkeit, mit den natürlichen Wetterveränderungen fertig zu werden. Es besteht eine erhöhte Ansprechbarkeit bzw. erniedrigte Reizschwelle des vegetativen Nervensystems. Von der Wetterfühligkeit zu unterscheiden ist die Wetterempfindlichkeit, die sich durch Verschlimmerung bestehender Krankheiten, örtlicher Beschwerden und Schmerzen äußert. Siehe auch: Föhnkrankheit

Les alteracions de la llum, per exemple, uns quants dies ennuvolats, afecta a l'estat d'ànim. El vent fort durant dies i els canvis bruscs del temps causen maldecaps, irritabilitat, ansietat, etc. Fins i tot s'ha comprovat que a les escoles, hores abans que plogui, els nens estan més nerviosos.
- Meteoropatía es una palabra derivada del griego "meteoros" (alto en el cielo) y "pathos" (enfermedad), que indica cualquier patología relacionada con unas condiciones metereológicas concretas. Las alteraciones de la luz (p.e. varios días nubosos) afecta al estado de ánimo, el viento fuerte durante días y los cambios bruscos del tiempo causa dolores de cabeza, irritabilidad, ansiedad... incluso se ha comprobado en los colegios que horas antes de que se ponga a llover, los niños están mucho más nervioso de lo normal.

Objawami są ogólne osłabienie organizmu, senność, niestabilność emocjonalna. Mogą pojawić się ból głowy oraz stawów (w przypadku choroby zwyrodnieniowej, wcześniejszych uszkodzeń).
