Mega Man III is a 1992 North America-exclusive DOS game released by Hi-Tech Expressions under license by Capcom. It is based on the Mega Man franchise and is the second DOS game based on the franchise, following the 1990 Mega Man DOS game produced by the same company. Despite sharing the same title, it is unrelated to Nintendo Entertainment System or Game Boy versions of Mega Man 3. Also despite claiming to be the third in the series, there was no DOS game titled Mega Man II.

The game features six robot masters which Mega Man must defeat; Torch Man, Bit Man, Shark Man, Wave Man, Oil Man and Blade Man. These robot masters are very similar in design to those encountered in the NES versions of Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3.
