Mary Daly (b. October 16, 1928, Schenectady, New York) is a radical feminist philosopher and theologian. She taught at Boston College, a Jesuit-run institution, for 33 years. Daly agreed to be retired from Boston College in 1999, after violating university policy by refusing to allow male students in her Women's Studies classroom; she did, however, agree to teach them separately.
