Marvin Eugene Cook was born to Marilyn Cook February 24, 1966 in West Branch, Iowa, is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft. A 6'4", 234-lb. tight end from the University of Iowa, Cook played in 7 NFL seasons from 1989 to 1995 for the Patriots, the Chicago Bears, and the St. Louis Rams.
