Mark Robert Worrell is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher for the San Diego Padres. He was called up to the major leagues by the St. Louis Cardinals on June 1, 2008, and made his debut on June 3. On June 5, Worrell hit a 3-run home run in his first major league at-bat. On December 4, 2008, he was traded to the San Diego Padres for shortstop Khalil Greene. Worrell is not related to former Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Todd Worrell or his brother Tim Worrell.
