- Mark Dice is an author and Christian conservative political activist based in San Diego, California. Dice founded an organization, variously called The Resistance, The Christian Resistance or The Resistance for Christ, which espouses fundamentalist Christianity and professes conspiratorial beliefs about the Roman Catholic Church, the Illuminati, freemasons, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove, the 9/11 attacks and Satanism, and which has been reported to "flood the airwaves of call-in radio and television shows" to promote them. His 450 page book, The Resistance Manifesto details these beliefs. Mark Dice purports that a global criminal mafia called the Illuminati operates under the cover of various organizations and manipulate political and financial arenas, slowly eroding the Constitution and America’s sovereignty. According to his writings, Dice believes that the Illuminati are fulfilling Bible Prophecy by creating a global government called the New World Order, that will one day be the infrastructure that the antichrist will use to become a global dictator. He also believes that the New World Order promotes immorality, selfishness, materialism, and purposefully aims to keep the population entertained with television and issues of little significance in order to separate them from the political process, thus allowing the Illuminati to operate without much opposition. Dice's activities have been covered by national media outlets. His focus is primarily on political activism, culture jamming, boycotts, and pop culture criticism. He has called for the Georgia Guidestones to be removed from public property, protested a Jessica Simpson music video, called for a boycott of the VeriChip, called for Duke University to change the name of its sports team, called for rapper 50 Cent to stop wearing a cross, and claimed that Scientology is a satanic cult. He launched a boycott against Starbucks, calling the company "Slutbucks", after the company featured a logo of a topless mermaid-type figure. In 2009, Dice urged his supporters to disrupt the premier of the film Angels & Demons, because "Dan Brown spins it to make everybody think [the Illuminati] is a conspiracy theory, the figment of the conspiracy theorists" when he believes the Illuminati exist and were responsible for the 9/11 attacks and the banking collapse. He endorsed Ron Paul's candidacy for president in 2008 during the primaries, and after John McCain was chosen as the Republican candidate, he supported Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin, refusing to endorse Obama or McCain. Through his organization, The Resistance, he denounced Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin as a "neglectful and irresponsible mother" for accepting the VP nomination and taking time away from her new born child and family by spending all her time on the campaign trail. Dice is featured in Alex Jones' film The 9/11 Chronicles, which documents the activities of the 9/11 truth movement. One scene shows a confrontation between Dice and actor Danny Bonaduce surrounding 9/11 and the War in Iraq. Dice believes that encounter is responsible for the revival of Bonaduce's career after it went viral on YouTube resulting in Bonaduce being invited on cable news shows to talk about it. In May 2009 Dice released The Illuminati: Facts & Fiction, which analyzes the possibility of the existence of the Illuminati secret society and the many allegations and conspiracy theories surrounding the group.
