Marcel Pronovost was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League. He played for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League. Marcel was one of the best defensive defenceman of his era. He was an important member of the 1950s Red Wings winning four Stanley Cups in 1950, 1952, 1954, 1955, as well as 5th cup 1967 Maple Leaf team. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1978.
