Manuel Garza Aldape (April 6, 1871 – February 28, 1924) was a prominent attorney in Mexico City. From 1912 to 1913 he served as Secretary of Education, Secretary of State and Secretary of Foreign Affairs for President Victoriano Huerta. Due to his disagreement with Huerta's policies, he was asked to leave Mexico in 24 hours, an event described in A Diplomat's Wife In Mexico by Edith Louise O'Shaughnessy (2007). He lived in Paris until 1914, when he moved with his family to Maine and New York.

Fue secretario de Instrucción Pública y Bellas Artes, en el gobierno de Victoriano Huerta (14 de junio al 11 de agosto de 1913), posteriormente estuvo encargado del despacho de Relaciones Exteriores y secretario de Fomento (hoy Secretaria de Economia y Gobernación(asi como del Ministerio de Agricultura del que fue su primer titular de acuerdo al Pacto de la Ciudadela en el cuál se acuerda el golpe de Estado contra Francisco I. Madero. Después de tener serios desacuerdos con Victoriano Huerta, tuvo que dejar México y se embarcó rumbo a París en el cual vive hasta 1914 cuando se muda a Maine en Nueva York donde estuvo trabajando para Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle hasta 1924, año en que finalmente vuelve a la ciudad de Mexico.
