Manfred Manglitz (born 8 March 1940) is a former German football player. Outspoken Manglitz had been one of a handful of West Germany international footballers involved in the match fixing Bundesligaskandal in 1971, in consequence receiving a lifetime ban from the ordinary courts of the German Football Association. The tall goalkeeper was, beforehand, a member of the West Germany squad at 1970 FIFA World Cup, playing two times for his country in 1965 and in 1970.

- Manfred Manglitz ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Fußballspieler. Er spielte von 1963 bis 1971 als Torwart in der Fußball-Bundesliga zunächst für den Meidericher SV, nach dessen Umbenennung 1967 für den MSV Duisburg und schließlich für den 1. FC Köln. Manglitz war der erste Torhüter, dem in der Bundesliga ein Tor gelang. Im Juni 1967 traf er für den MSV Duisburg per Elfmeter zum 1:3 gegen Borussia Mönchengladbach. In der Nationalmannschaft war er von 1965 bis 1970 aktiv. Er nahm an der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 1970 in Mexiko teil und belegte mit der Mannschaft den dritten Platz. Manglitz war dafür bekannt, dass er fast nie wegen Verletzung ausfiel. Manglitz, aufgrund seines großen Mundwerkes auch "Cassius" genannt, war in die Vorgänge rund um den Bundesliga-Skandal 1971 verwickelt, als er Kickers Offenbach eindeutige Angebote in Sachen Spielbeeinflussung machte. Manfred Manglitz beendete nach der Saison 1970/71 zunächst seine Karriere, da er als Spieler aufgrund der Bestechlichkeit lebenslänglich gesperrt wurde. 1974 begnadigt, spielte er beim FSV Gebäudereiniger in Köln, bevor er 1975/76 als Torwart des 1. FC Mülheim-Styrum noch einmal in den bezahlten Fußball zurückkehrte und einige Spiele in der 2. Bundesliga bestritt. Später wandte er sich vom Fußball ab. Er zog ca. 1975 nach Spanien und eröffnete dort ein Restaurant. Manglitz war vor 1989 mit Irma Esch, der heutigen Frau von Josef Esch verheiratet.
