- Magnum Crimen, Pola Vijeka Klerikalizma u Hrvatskoj oder Magnum Crimen (lat. Großes Verbrechen) ist ein Buch von Dr. Viktor Novak, das 1948 in Zagreb verlegt wurde. Magnum Crimen beschäftigt sich mit den Verbrechen die durch den kroatischen klerikalfaschistischen Ustascha-Staat begangen wurden, sowie dessen Ursprüngen und Entwicklung ab 1914. Behandelt werden die Verwicklungen des katholischen Klerus in die Verbrechen des Ustascha-Staates. Der Untertitel des stark umstrittenen Buches lautet übersetzt Ein halbes Jahrhundert des Klerikalismus in Kroatien. Novak wird von konservativer Seite eine einseitige Darstellung sowie eine Schädigung des Ansehens Kroatiens und der Kroaten vorgeworfen. Allgemein konnten aber keine unwahren Aussagen in Magnum Crimen aufgezeigt werden. Über die 1948 in Zagreb erschienen Erstausgabe geht das Gerücht um, sie sei großteils im Auftrag der Katholischen Kirche aufgekauft und vernichtet worden. Eine Neuauflage kam 1986 bei Nova Knjiga Belgrad heraus.
