MTV Adria is the pan-adriatic version of the music and entertainment channel MTV, available in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. Zunächst wurde es nur in Slowenien, Kroatien und Bosnien und Herzegowina ausgestrahlt, aber der Sender war auch für alle Nachfolgestaaten Jugoslawiens, also auch Serbien, Montenegro und Mazedonien, konzipiert. 20 % des Programms ist für Produktionen aus den Zielgruppenländern reserviert. Urbane junge Erwachsene sind die Hauptzielgruppe, wobei der in der Region populäre Turbo-Folk ausgespart wird. MTV Adria erwirtschaftete 2006 einen Verlust von 1 Mio. Euro. Die Verluste konnten in der Folgezeit nicht verringert werden. Aus diesem Grund entschloss man sich dazu, die Zentrale von Ljubljana nach Belgrad zu verlegen. Im Laufe des Sommers 2008 soll der Umzug abgeschlossen sein.
