Born 1931 in Istanbul, he began 1949 sports wrestling in the "Istanbul Güreş Ihtisas Kulübü", a club specialized in wrestling.

Following his retirement from the active sports, he served as a trainer in his club. Müzahir Sille recently resides in Istanbul after having lived almost 25 years in Germany.
