Dorn had a fantastic 2008 season for Castleford Tigers and fans of the club were annoyed when he wasn't offered a longer deal to stay at the club. Dorn rejoined former club Harlequins RL for the 2009 season, replacing the retiring Scott Hill. He represented the Australian Schoolboys team in 2000 whilst attending Maitland All Saints College.
