It was shortly after this point that they decided to change direction and reform themselves as Doves. This album followed soon after Doves released three preceding EPs: Cedar EP, Sea EP, and Here It Comes. The US release contains three additional bonus tracks: "Darker," "Valley," and "Zither" (all of which were previously released on singles and EPs in the UK). "Darker" was featured in the second episode of the FOX drama series 24 and also in the movie Dandelion.
