London Apprentice is a hamlet approximately two miles south of St Austell, Cornwall, United Kingdom,in the historical parish of St Austell. It was built at a cross-roads on the road from St Austell to Pentewan, and originally had a blacksmith shop as well as a small inn. There was a very lively Methodist congregation, whose Sunday School continued into the 1980s. Farms surround the hamlet, whilst the seacoast is not very far away.
