Garbus produced Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, which premièred at Sundance and won an Emmy for Outstanding Non-Fiction Special of 2007, Yo Soy Boricua, and Pa'que Tu Lo Sepas, a collaboration with Rosie Perez.
