Despite this full band setup, Black and Gass toured in support of the album as an acoustic duo in 2001 and 2002. After releasing their movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny in 2006, the band released their second studio album The Pick of Destiny, which acted as the soundtrack to said movie. The album featured previous collaborator Dave Grohl, in addition to electric guitarist John Konesky and bassist John Spiker. Tenacious D toured in support of the movie and album, with a full band featuring Konesky, Spiker and drummer Brooks Wackerman. These band members also joined Black and Gass at their various shows in 2008, though it is unknown whether they will feature on the band's next album, slated for release in 2010 or later.
