Les Breastfeeders are a Canadian indie rock group from Montreal, whose style is a combination of garage rock with yé-yé influences. The band consists of vocalists and guitarists Luc Brien and Suzie McLelove, guitarist Sunny Duval, bassist Joe, tambourinist Johnny Maldoror and drummer Pat Sayers. The band released its debut album, Déjeuner sur l'herbe, in 2004 on Blow the Fuse Records.

Les Breastfeeders ont lancé un premier démo en 2000, placé quelques chansons sur les palmarès des radios universitaires de Montréal et ont forgé leur réputation par des concerts remarqués, notamment au bar L'Escogriffe, où se développe une bonne partie de la scène rock indépendante francophone de Montréal. Leur premier album, Déjeuner sur l'herbe est paru en 2004 et a reçu un accueil très favorable de la critique et du public. En 2006, le groupe a lancé son second album, intitulé Les Matins de grands soirs, avec un nouveau batteur, Fred Fortin. Le groupe a effectué deux tournées aux États-Unis, la première en 2005, et a donné des concerts en Europe. Les Breastfeeders ont partagé, entre autres, la scène avec les New York Dolls au Festival d'été international de Québec en 2005, et fait une tournée aux États-Unis et au Canada avec Nebula en 2007. Leurs albums sont disponibles en France sur le label Boxson.
