Laura Gallego García is a Spanish author of children's literature. At 21 her first novel won the Barco de Vapor Prize and she would win the award a second time for La Leyenda del Rey Errante, which was translated to English as The Legend of the Wandering King. She sometimes goes by just "Laura Gallego. " Today she lives with her boyfriend in the village of Alboraia or Alboraya, well known for the Valencian typical fresh drink horchata.
