Lari people or Laristani are an Iranian ethnic group who inhabit primarily in southern Iran in a region historically known as Laristan. Significant numbers of Lari people also have migrated to Kuwait, UAE and other Arab countries in the region. Laris speak Lari language, which is related to Persian. Lari people should not be confused with Lur people who live further northwest.
