Although this album contains many of Mr. Oizo's trademark avant-garde elements, it also has many elements of Electro and French House not previously heard in his albums, most notably French electro-rapper Uffie's guest track, Steroids. The first single off of the album is "Positif", which was released three days after the album's release and has gotten support from a wide variety of DJs, including Flying Lotus and D.I.M.

Unlike Analog Worms Attack and Moustache (Half a Scissor), the album is composed of many dance tracks suited for a club environment. The album cover pays homage to the 1928 surrealist film "Un Chien Andalou". This record marked a change in Oizo's style. This album has received mixed reviews, with Pitchfork and PopMatters especially disliking it. The album was released in France on November 17, 2008 and in America on January 26, 2009.

L'illustration de la pochette a été réalisée par le graphiste français So Me, et est fortement inspirée de la scène du film surréaliste Un chien andalou de Luis Buñuel dans laquelle Simone Mareuil se faisait trancher l'oeil avec une lame de rasoir, à la différence que Flat Eric, la marionnette jaune que Mr. Oizo utilisa notamment pour le clip du tube Flat Beat, remplace l'actrice sur la pochette.
