LambdaMOO is an online community of the variety called a MOO. It is the oldest MOO today and one of the most active, with just under 3000 regular members. Typically, around 100 members are connected at any given time. LambdaMOO was founded in late 1990 or early 1991 by Pavel Curtis at Xerox PARC.
