Lac-Simon is an Indian reserve in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec. Basically at N45.54 to N46 and W75.03 to W75.06 There are also a number of residential cottages and summer houses around the lake. It is about 15 miles long and 2 miles wide with a large island containing a smaller pond itself. There are several small islands on it, some of which are large enough to camp on.

There is a sunken aircraft somewhere in a deep part of the northeast end that broke through the ice and overturned one winter before 1975 and perhaps in the 50's. It was said to be heading to a monastery in the area when it went down. The return of Deer to the area was featured in an episode of Lorne Greene's New Wilderness in the mid-1980s.

Ils sont Algonquins et ils parlent Algonquin et français. La population sur la communauté est 1 112. La population hors communauté est 246. La population totale est 1 358. Le chef de la Nation était Daniel Pien jusqu'à sa destitution en février 2009. Depuis, un chef intérimaire est en poste jusqu'aux prochaines élections.
