Kwei Chih-Hung (20 December 1937 — 1 October 1999) was one of the top directors for Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers' Studio between 1960s and 1980s. Born in Guangzhou, China, he grew in Taiwan and Hong Kong. He studied film and drama in Taiwan and also underwent training in Japan. For almost his entire career he worked for Shaw's Brothers in Hong Kong directing more than forty feature films. Chih-Hung Kwei's son Ming Beaver Kwei is also in the movie industry.
