The Korg KARMA music workstation was released in 2001 as a specialised member of the Korg Triton family. KARMA technology has now appeared in a second Korg workstation, the Korg OASYS. Introduced in mid 2007, the Korg M3 also sports the latest 2nd generation KARMA functionality. As a member of the Triton family, the Korg KARMA uses the same HI sample-based synthesis techniques as the other Triton workstations and uses the same expansion ROMs. It can be upgraded with the MOSS modelling synthesizer module.
