The school, since then has grown considerably in size with the addition of buildings like the ‘atrium’ that was opened in the year 2000 and now hosts the schools English and Modern languages department. The school is well know for its Technology department that is advanced compared to other state schools. The school also runs a GCSE course in engineering that students from surrounding schools come to study. Fischer Family Trust data puts the College in the top 25% of schools for Value Added Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
