- Kim Bingham is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She began her career in music as a member of the legendary Montreal, Quebec third wave ska band Me Mom and Morgentaler. In 1996, after that band broke up, Bingham moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, married then-husband Steven Drake of the Odds and formed the band Mudgirl, who had a Canadian radio hit that year with "This Day", and performed on some Lilith Fair dates. (The band also featured Kevin Spencer, Joe Hrechka and Niko Quintal. ) However, in 1999, she dissolved the band and created The Kim Band, a rotating collective of musicians in which Bingham herself was the sole constant. That band's debut album, Girlology, was released in 2001. From 2001 until 2003, Bingham also worked with Canadian singer David Usher as a guitarist and backing vocalist. In 2003, she released a French language single, "Coeur de sable", which was a popular Top 40 hit in Quebec. In 2003 and early 2004, she toured Europe and the U.S. with pop singer Nelly Furtado as a guitarist and backing vocalist in Furtado's band. In 2005, Bingham wrote the score for the first season of the SRC primetime series Les Invincibles. In 2006, Bingham relocated to Los Angeles and formed the all-female rock trio Kamikaze Pilot.

En 2005, Bingham a écrit le thème musical pour la première saison de la série Les Invincibles de la SRC. Un CD sera ensuite mis en vente. En 2006, Bingham déménagea à Los Angeles et forma le trio féminin Kamikaze Pilot. En 2007, son groupe Me Mom & Morgentaler lance l'album Shiva Space Machine - The Second Incarnation. C'est une réédition de l'album shiva space machine de 1992 avec 5 chansons supplémentaire.
