- James Kenneth Hogan, better known as Ken Hogan, is an Irish hurling manager and former player. He is the current manager of the Tipperary under-21 hurling team. An effective goalkeeper, Hogan enjoyed a successful playing career at club level with Lorrha-Dorrha and at inter-county level with Tipperary. He was a key member of the latter team during the 'golden age' from 1987 until 1993 and collected two All-Ireland titles, five Munster titles, a National Hurling League title and an All-Star award. Immediately after retiring from inter-county activity Hogan became involved in coaching. He was a selector on the Tipperary senior team under Fr. Tom Fogarty and Nicky English in the 1990s before later taking charge of the J. K. Bracken's club. Hogan served as manager of his native county's senior team between 2003 and 2005, however, his term in charge was largely unsuccessful. He was appointed manager of the Tipperary under-21 hurling team in October 2009.
