Kei Akagi (born 1953) is a Japanese American jazz pianist most known as a sideman. In particular he is known for his work with the Airto Moreira/Flora Purim group and in Miles Davis's band in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was born in Japan, but lived in Cleveland, Ohio for part of his childhood and then returned to the United States at 22. He is associated with the Californian jazz scene at present. He is the Chancellor Professor of Music at the University of California, Irvine.

  • ケイ 赤城（ケイ あかぎ、本名：赤城恵、1953年3月16日 - ）は、仙台市生まれのジャズピアニスト。 幼少期はオハイオ州に在住、音楽学校で学ぶ。日本に帰国後、国際基督教大学に入学し哲学と作曲学を専攻。卒業後は再び渡米し、カリフォルニア大学で哲学の博士課程に入学。その間にピアニストとして音楽活動し、プロミュージシャンとして1979年にアイアート・モレイラ&フローラ・プリムのバンドメンバーとなり、その後アル・ディメオラ・グループなどを経て1989年から1991年までマイルス・デイヴィスのバンドメンバーとして活動する。スタンリー・タレンタインのバンドにも参加。 現在は、カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校で音楽教授として在席する傍ら、音楽活動を行っている。 なお、姉はクラシックピアニストで、現代音楽作曲家本間雅夫の妻である赤城眞理である。
