He launched his new self titled project "KAV" in February 2008 with his band comprising Sandhu (guitar and vocals), Jim Portas (drums and backing vocals), Dan Gulino (bass) and Bobby Angels (slide guitar and harmonica) he has recently been joined by new members Gren Spencer and Rich Nightingale. His band features many guests from different bands from both British and North American music scenes.
