About: Kathryn Calder

Kathryn Calder is a Canadian indie rock musician, who is a member of the bands Immaculate Machine and The New Pornographers. She plays keyboard and sings in both bands. Many of the parts she sings live with The New Pornographers are as a replacement for Neko Case (Neko still occasionally returns); however, Calder has been given an increasingly large role with the band. She is the niece of fellow The New Pornographers member Carl Newman.
